This project involves widening and reconstruction of 2 multilevel interchanges on E-5 highway, which provides main transportation between İzmit and İstanbul, and construction of access roads. The project enables regular and fast transportation to the most important industrial facilities and ports of the country. Within the scope of the project; besides special construction works such as bored pile application and construction of earth retaining walls, 5 800 m of jet grouting for soil improvement and 3 000 m2 of bridge construction have been carried out. Additionally, 93 000 tons of sub base-base works, 60 000 tons of hot bitiminous concrete works have been completed.
