The Project is located on Kelkit River, in Giresun Province. The construction of the project including a Concrete Arch Dam, 1500 m Tunnel, 1 km Open-Channel, Headpond and Power House is completed in 2012. Within the scope of the project; over 900,000 m³ of excavation work, approximately 150,000 m³ of concrete works, piling works, etc. have been completed. The total investment value is 65 Million USD. The power plant which has an installed capacity of 24 MW is expected to generate 68 000 000 kWh of energy per year.. Additionally, the construction of a 1.4 MW impoundment hydropower plant has been completed.
